What live jersey printing costs

We quote every jersey line individually, and we will tell you why. A published per-jersey price would be wrong for almost everyone, because the same 300 jerseys can be a five-hour two-lane job or a three-hour four-lane job depending on your doors, your venue and whether you already own the garments.

Anchors

The numbers we can give you now

~$5,000Starting point, staffed local station
$250/hrStaffing, incl. setup and teardown
$0 / $900Travel: local / outside OC-LA-SD
$25–$40Typical all-in per guest, corporate

Those four figures cover most of the questions a planner needs answered before taking a proposal internally. Staffed stations start around $5,000 for a local event. Staffing is billed at $250 per hour and includes the setup and teardown hours, because those hours are real crew time. Travel is $0 inside Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego and $900 outside that radius. Most corporate programs land between $25 and $40 per guest once blanks, crew, transfers and art prep are counted.

The per-guest range moves mostly on the garment. A mid-weight blank jersey is a different line item than a premium sublimated cut, and a client-supplied jersey removes the garment cost entirely.

Inputs

Six things that move the number

InputWhy it moves the priceWhat helps
Event hoursCrew is hourly and includes load-in and teardown. A four-hour public window is often a seven-hour crew day.Give us doors and close, plus known peaks.
Lane countEach lane is a press plus an operator. Lanes are the lever that buys throughput.Tell us your jersey target; we will size lanes to it.
Garment sourceWe source blanks, or you supply jerseys. Client-supplied removes the largest variable cost.Confirm early — it changes the whole shape of the quote.
Jersey countTransfers, staging labor and blank quantity all scale with it.A realistic ceiling beats an optimistic guess.
Art prepSponsor marks, crest art, custom numeral fonts and color matching are prep hours before the event.Send vector art. Send it early.
Travel$0 inside OC/LA/SD. $900 beyond. Nationwide programs add freight and lodging.Lock the venue city as soon as you can.

Shape

How the money usually splits

On a typical local jersey activation, the quote breaks into four buckets: crew hours, garments, production materials, and prep. Crew is usually the largest single line on a client-supplied job. Garments become the largest line the moment we are sourcing several hundred blanks.

Where planners overspend

Two patterns, both avoidable. The first is over-buying lanes for a long, thin event — a six-hour trickle does not need four lanes, it needs two lanes and a longer window. The second is a wide options menu. Every extra color, print location and design choice adds decision time at the tablet and inventory complexity behind the counter, and you pay for both.

Where planners underspend

Almost always staffing during the first ninety minutes. Doors are the peak on nearly every event, and a station sized for the average will be visibly underwater at the start. We would rather quote you an extra operator for the opening block than watch your best hour become your worst photo.

No rigid table, on purpose

We do not publish a per-jersey price list because it would mislead you. Send the six inputs above and you will get a specific number with the lane math attached, so you can see exactly what you are buying.

Quote

Send the six inputs

Hours, lanes you think you want, garment source, jersey count, art status and venue city. That is enough for a real quote. If you are missing a couple of them, send what you have and we will ask about the rest in one round rather than five emails.
